KirriCorp Fanfiction World Championships Set 14

Postby Bell » Mon Jan 18, 2010 7:02 pm

It is finally time to hold these championships for the Fanfiction. As should be obvious, decks are limited to containing cards from sets 1-14 and the associated promos (nearly all promos are legal, doublecheck if not).

There will be at maximum 28 decks competing in this. The C slot is the one occupied by General Petrova's Aircraft Carrier and is not required to qualify for the top 8 slots, leading to the qualification rounds consisting of only 28 decks.

C. General Petrova's Aircraft Carrier (AnGGa)

1. Blue Eyes White Dragon (NPC) vs. 22. (Empty Slot)
2. The P3 (Nerafim) vs. 28. The Awesome Might of Green Lantern's Light (Sammyda)
3. Dark Miasma (NPC) vs. 24. Gateway to Hell (Prince of Hell)
4. Fight For Your Life (lmaotan) vs. 9. Miracle Gro (NPC)
5. Encore (graveyardboy) vs. 11. WorldWeaver (NPC)
6. Catacomb of Galactus (| bear |) vs. 18. Summer Breeze (Sarius/NPCed)
7. Energy Crisis (AnGGa #2 - NPC of his choice) vs. 10. Predatory(White) Death (Alexander)
8. Doodle (Micky) vs. 17. Vampire Elves (NPC)
12. Vibrant Dawn (Sniper989) vs. 19. Skydrive (Darksword)
13. The Total Destruction of Vladivostok (NPC) vs. 25. HeadHunter! (Waleed)
14. Irresistible (Rin) vs. 16. Bajula, the Terminator (NPC, deck by magma)
15. Speed Demons (Remni Yokura a.k.a. Shobu, may be in 'NPC' form) vs. 21. The Vicious Cycle of Life and Death (I-am-bad a.k.a. LostSoul)
20. Unbreakable (Bell) vs. 23. Upbringing (DMSuper)
26. Divinity to the Eternal (CrimsonBrawler) vs 27. Spiritus (NPC)

Current number of free slots for qualifiers: Official: 1

All players have been paired with an NPC based on a certain win-loss criteria. Your deck will never be weak to what their deck does on the basic level, their deck will never be very weak to what your deck does. They will have a small disadvantage in the case of 'backup plan vs backup plan'. In short, in nearly all cases, if you are capable of demonstrating your secondary strategy you will win, and if you use your main against their main they need a perfect progression to win.

If you lose, you had bad luck or played badly. Oh well.

Still waiting on the last entrant, and I am not dueling as NPCs today. Use today to prepare or complain, whichever suits you.

13. The Total Destruction of Vladivostok (NPC) vs. 25. HeadHunter! (Waleed)

Okay, that is a really cool deck name. I don't even know what a Vladivostok is.

Rusty isn't playing?

Vladivostok is a very large Russian city located by the sea in Eastern Syberia.

Rusty wasn't around to sign up, so no.

I won against Alexander in the Energy Crisis vs Predatory White Death match, number 7.
Regarding the character, Bell may use Shoshanna deSalle from my newest fan fiction, Speak Now or Forever Keep Your Peace. Inventing another character is fine as well. I am also available if Bell has too much workload and wants me to write that episode up. Anything goes.
